I have worked with Excel Construction in Anchorage on a variety of tenant improvements projects in the Anchorage market for the past 8 years.  My office is located in Seattle which does not afford me the quantity of time at a given project site in Alaska that I typically like to see on a project.  However Excel Construction has proven, time and again their strengths in communication, notification and follow-up, during all phases and with all elements of the construction process.  The Excel team not only does an excellent job communicating with their client,  but they also do an astounding job of communicating internally within their own team including subcontractors.  The Excel team takes a very hands on approach to construction from bidding to execution,  project kick-off to punch list completion, I could call anyone on the Excel team with a question specific to a given project and the entire team would be able to provide the answer or suggest a potential solution to a problem.  The Excel team’s consistent approach to providing a solution to a problem rather than simply explaining a problem provides the confidence necessary when managing construction remotely.   Excel has the know-how and provides the training to their team necessary to perform the work within occupied spaces with little to no disturbance of disruption to the clients employees or the clients ongoing operation.  This can be a difficult situation for all but Excel Construction understands all aspects of their clients’ needs and will go the extra lengths in support of these needs.  In my experience, Excel Construction has achieved successful projects in both the retail and the commercial environment, bring the project to completion on schedule and on budget.
